My 7 year old daughter came here twice on two separate occasions for extractions. She first saw Dr. Reid who was able to remove her tooth with just the numbing medicine and did great. She then saw Dr. Green who again was able to remove her tooth. She did great both times and both experiences has not altered her view of the dentist in anyway. Highly recommend for children.
My extremely nervous and scared son, who needed several extractions went to see Dr Reid. Besides being in a foul mood, Dr. Reid started explaining to my son exactly what he was going to do to him which frightened him more until the point Dr Reid refused to continue with the procedure sighting safety reasons. My wife tried to stop him from explaining the procedure, but Dr Reid was righteous in his godly doctor manner that his patient (11 years old) had a right to know. As parents, we decide what he knows. Dr Reid has no business working on children and obviously doesn't understand fears they might have about getting needles and teeth removed from their head. Seek somewhere else for your oral surgery.
I can’t recommend the OSA Oral Southcoast Surgery in New Bedford enough. They got me in quickly for an emergency extraction and were incredibly compassionate and sensitive to my dental anxiety. Dr. Green took the time to explain everything clearly, which helped ease my fears. Misha, the dental assistant, went above and beyond, she made me feel calm and even held my hand during the procedure. Both Dr. Green] and Misha were professional yet deeply compassionate. What could have been a very traumatic and emotional experience was handled with such care that I left feeling supported, not shaken. I’m truly grateful for the way they turned a difficult situation into a manageable and even positive one.
Great place, the staff is very welcoming and calmed me down before my wisdom teeth extraction. Dr. Reid even played music to help me before going to sleep. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and helped me over the phone with my after surgery questions. Def recommend 10/10!
Dr. Reid took the time to thoroughly understand my situation and, with just as much thoroughness, explained my options. I didn't feel as though he was rushing through my visit. His knowledge about implants was very apparent.
