I’ve been a patient at this dental office for few years and have generally had positive experiences with my cleanings and care. However, during my most recent visit, there was a misunderstanding about the appointment time. I arrived 10 minutes late, and the front desk refused to accommodate me. I called the office manager and she was rude and dismissive from the start, saying because I was 10 min it wouldn’t be enough time to clean my teeth. The conversation became tense after I attempted to explain my perspective. I tried calling back after my phone call with the manager several times and phone calls from my number were not answered until I called from a different number. When I returned later that same day for my rescheduled appointment, the front desk staff were still dismissive. She was on the phone and didn’t acknowledge me when I arrived, there was no sign in sheet so she knew who I was when I walked in and only told me I was checked in after finishing her call. The visit itself was in and out in less than 20 minutes, which shows that seeing me earlier would have been feasible. The interaction made me feel disrespected and undervalued as a patient. That said, the hygienist Angel was professional and thorough during my cleaning, which I appreciated. I hope the office can improve communication and professionalism at the front desk, as these interactions impact patient trust and overall experience.
Wow! I am impressed. I have been trying to get in there for a while but the delays were solely on the part of the Veterans Administration. As soon as they got the referral, Southeast Dental called and made an appointment the next day. I was able to check in with medical forms online, and when I got there 5 minutes ahead of my appointment time, I barely had time to check in and barely sit on the seat and waiting room before they called me back exactly on time for my appointment. Leah was very friendly and courteous, as was the doctor. Plus they have a TV on the ceiling that you can watch while they work on you. Highly recommended.
I can't say enough good things about Dr Lewis and his staff! Everyone is so friendly, helpful, and professional. The receptionists always greet everyone warmly. The clinic is always super clean. I had 3 cavities filled today and there was almost no discomfort. I highly recommend Dr Lewis and his fantastic staff!
Coming from someone who fears the dentist this was an amazing experience! Called about an extraction and got seen the same day!!!! i was feeling super anxious and nervous, but the hygienist instantly put me at ease and made me feel completely comfortable. She went above and beyond to accommodate me, and majority of the process was painless. When the dentist did the extraction, I felt only the tiniest bit of pressure and in less than FIVE minutes, it was done! (the whole process including exams and discussions was around a hour long but not bad at all)The receptionist is just as wonderful, making the whole visit a breeze from start to finish. I can’t wait to come back n this is officially my go to dental office! Also very affordable!
I love Southeast Dental! Dr. Lewis and his staff are all AWSOME. They treat you like family ♥️ very professional and extremely friendly. Always willing to help in any way they can. Thank you Dr. Lewis for your great dental work and having my best interest at heart.
