Dr. Julie and the whole crew are the best dental crew I've ever had. They've done everything from root canals to crowns and I've never felt the first bit of pain. I've never had a dentist (or any medical professional for that matter) take the time Dr. Julie does to make sure nothing is even uncomfortable, much less painful. Never had a bad experience there and everybody I've talked to has been polite and helpful, even when we had issues with an identity getting stolen...they were patient and even helped me with the stolen ID problem. I've read the negative reviews and well...all I can say is "haters gonna hate" 🤷. If you act like a reasonable, decent person there's absolutely no way they're not gonna treat you right. And no I'm not related/married to/otherwise involved with them or anybody there. I just can't say enough good things about Southern Roots!
Best team hands down! After 25 years of having horrible experiences with other dental facilities across the state, Southern Roots has not only impressed me with the level of care they provide, but they've left me with a sense of trust and individualized care that I've never known before. If you're looking for a dental team, do yourself a huge favor and use Southern Roots. You won't be disappointed
My family and I have been going to Southern Roots for a few years now, and it has always been a positive experience. The dentists and assistants are always nice, and make sure that you are comfortable. They are excellent with my child, and he likes going to the dentist from the experiences he has received.
I am new to the state, and I had to find a new dentist in the area. I researched quite a bit and made numerous phone calls. Nobody seemed interested in doing business with me in Ruston. But then I found Southern Roots in Monroe and found exactly what I was looking for! I got there early to my appointment and saw the sign that said they were out to lunch for another 30 minutes, and they still unlocked the door so that I could start filling out my paperwork, I thought that was great. On the paperwork it asked what I look for in a dentist office and I answered honestly, "Just be friendly and informative." Because it keeps me calm when I have everything explained to me so that I know what's going on. Well, they provided just that. Carmen was super nice like I had been a patient there for years and went over all the films and problem areas I had and what to expect when the dentist came in to go over everything. My dentist, Dr Gregory, was just as friendly and talked me through an awesome treatment plan. It was all broken down to me in ways that I could understand, and I didn't feel any pressure to up-spend on expensive procedures that I wasn't comfortable with yet. Sharon in reception broke down the financials and insurance for me in a way that I could schedule my dental treatment in my time without feeling like I have to get anxiety about any of it. All in all, everyone was very thorough, the office is very clean, and I was very happy with the choice I made to pick Southern Root Dental so far.
My son is scared of going to the dentist and struggled with the experience but everyone at Southern Roots worked with him wonderfully. They were so kind and patient, and by the time we left he let me know next time he does not think he will be as scared. I cannot recommend them enough if you have a kiddo (and they were pretty awesome and thorough with my exam, too). They're literally the sweetest staff ❤️
