Powered by GoogleDefinitely an experience!! If it wasn't for the supportive office and care of the team my experience personally probably would be much more negative than it should have been. Being that I'm older for the average for wisdom teeth removal (49) I had obvious heightened concerns with the potential complications as well as my recovery process. Dr. Brasileiro truly was an absolute GODSEND, as well as his staff. It's surgery, so my feedback for that is that it puts a dent and a pause in your life, he had me well prepared and was honest with me out of the gate from day 1 with our consult. For that alone I truly appreciate and respect him for that. I own a business and needed honest expectations. I also have had a slight complications so I can speak in the after hours protocol and that also was great! They got me right in, corrected and addressed my issues and I walked out once again feeling more that reassured things were headed in the right direction! The front desk, nurses and all that work for this office are lovely! Thank you so very much Dr. B and staff you really set the standard !! 🙏❤️ Thank you Jackie
Dr Hogan and the team are top notch! I needed to have multiple teeth extractions. Needless to say, I was a bit nervous. They all made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. The procedure went very well. Everything was explained to me thoroughly. The healing process has been very smooth! Would highly recommend this group of professionals!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had all four of my wisdom teeth extracted, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Dr. Summey was absolutely amazing—professional, gentle, and made me feel completely at ease throughout the entire process. The recovery was surprisingly smooth and much easier than I expected. The office staff was just as wonderful: friendly, attentive, and always willing to answer my questions before and after the procedure. From start to finish, everything was handled with care and professionalism. I highly recommend this office to anyone needing wisdom teeth removal or dental care!
**Formal Complaint Regarding Unethical and Improper Billing Practices They place patients in unfair and financially harmful situations. I strongly encourage all patients to verify with their insurance providers what providers are contractually allowed to charge, because patients should never be charged more than the contracted amount. Attempting to collect more than the contracted amount is not permitted and should be reported to your insurance company. Patients have the right to dispute these charges and seek reimbursement for any improper billing. In my case, this office attempted to charge amounts far exceeding both my insurance company’s contracted rate and my out-of-pocket patient responsibility. Exp. My insurance covered $3,243 for my daughter’s molar extractions. 48hrs prior to my daughter's surgery they called to charge an additional $1,994 beyond what is allowed under the insurance contract, for a total of $5,237. My insurance provider, Cigna, confirmed directly that the provider is not allowed to charge even one dollar more than the contracted amount. Despite this confirmation, the office stated that they did not care and continued attempting to collect the additional charges prior to my daughter's visit. Both my insurance company and I contacted the office, and they still refused to comply. This placed me in the extremely difficult position of having to fight to protect my rights and my finances during a medically necessary procedure for my child. Additionally, during our initial appointment on January 15th, the office provided two estimated totals: $165 without medications, or $485 with medications provided through their office. I stood at the front desk for over 30 minutes while they processed these figures so that I could make an informed decision and plan accordingly. Then, only 48hrs before my daughter’s scheduled surgery on February 24th, after I had already taken time off work, arranged for my daughter to miss school and sports, and prepared for the procedure, I was informed that I would now be required to pay: $1,448.80 without medications, or $1,848.80 with medications through their office. This is a substantial and unreasonable increase from the original estimate and represents an attempt to overcharge both my insurance and me as the patient. According to my insurance company, this reflects: $1,994 over the contracted insurance amount, and $1,283 to $1,363 more than my patient responsibility. Providing this drastic change with only 24 hours’ notice placed me in an unfair position, leaving little to no time to call other offices, seek alternative care, or properly dispute the charges. This was especially distressing given that my daughter was already experiencing pain and tooth movement following braces, making the procedure medically necessary and time-sensitive. When considering the overbilling to both the insurance company and myself, the total amount they attempted to collect far exceeds what is ethically or contractually allowed. This results in the provider attempting to collect nearly double the amount from vulnerable patients who require necessary medical procedures. I am sharing this experience because it deeply troubles me to see the number of patients entering and leaving that office, many of whom may unknowingly be overcharged in the same way. I urge all patients to carefully review their insurance coverage and confirm their contracted rates. Providers are not permitted to charge beyond those amounts—not even one dollar more. Please protect yourselves, verify your patient responsibility, and do not hesitate to contact your insurance company to report improper billing and seek reimbursement. Hard-earned money should not be taken through billing practices that violate contractual agreements and patient trust. Pro: The dentist office is very nice very clean and very informative. See attached for proof My initial estimate 48 hour estimate and call log. However not worth thousands of dollars!
I intended to write this review months ago and would be remiss if I did not recognize the amazing experience I have had so far with Dr. Hogan. His bedside manner is comforting, he is thorough in his explanations and is what I would call a perfectionist. I have had the absolute best experience during my three visits to this office and I wouldn't go anywhere else for this type of care. Many thanks to Dr. Hogan and his team.
