After a bad fall 25 years ago, too many bad dentists, and, finally, a really good one, I had a really beautiful smile -- until one of my two front-teeth crowns came loose. Fearful of a repeat, I asked our family orthodontist (the amazing Dr. Lori Cohen in Farmington, CT) who I should see. Without hesitation, she said Dr. Rubin. Over the next eight months, I put the fate of my smile in this incredibly talented, brilliant woman and her equally wonderful staff who were always full of answers and assurances. Procedures with lasers and temporary teeth followed in the weeks and months ahead, but I trusted her and her process. The result is a truly, truly gorgeous smile with two of the most beautiful crowns I've ever seen. Here's the proof: When I looked into the mirror and saw my new smile for the first time? I cried.
I had my normal 4 month visit at Dr Rubin’s office and it was my first time with the dental hygienist, KYLEE. I have been going to this facility for approximately 40 years. The original periodontist had retired and I was continuing to use the same firm as I’ve never had a problem since Dr Rubin took over. Well, that changed today 9/10/25. I asked Kylee to please use numbing gel as I always do. She was very pleasant, however, once she began the procedure, even with the numbing gel, it began to hurt and I did yell out she was hurting me. I also stated that I have NEVER had it hurt in the 40 yrs of going there.Obviously I wasn’t used to her technique. When I was leaving, I was told NOT TO RETURN DUE TO MY ATTITUDE! After 40 years, THIS WAS APPALLING! Just because I spoke my mind! I will be glad to find another periodontist who can accept the truth from a patient!
Dr. Rubin not only fixed my failed dental implant, did a gum transplant, grew back bone, but did it sensitive to the fact that the last dentist absolutely traumatized me with 8 failed temporaries and then a final failed permanent crown. She has taken away my dental anxieties. I look amazing. She gives the best shots ever. Everyone should give shots like she does. She numbs a little area at a time to make it less painful. She’s a perfectionist and I appreciated her thoughtfulness. I just can’t thank her and her staff enough.
I recently had extensive dental work performed by Dr. Rubin. I can't overstate how pleased I was with the final outcome. She definitely met and exceeded my expectations. Her attention to every detail sets her apart from many dentists whose priority may be just to complete the work. That is definitely not the case with her. In addition, Dr. Rubin, her assistants and the front office staff make you feel welcome and secure that you are in capable hands. I am so grateful for the fact an experience I was dreading turned out to be positive in every way possible. Highly recommend!!
Dr. Rubin and her entire office are compassionate, educated, and extremely competent. After my initial visit with her (after seeing several specialists for an implant gone wrong), she was confident in helping me make decisions in my care and also completing a very lengthy, complicated removal of that implant. I trust her and her staff fully with anything they do, they are open to discussing options and giving me choices in my own healthcare- along with collaborating with other Drs. They all are responsive in any questions or concerns and they also worked well with my insurance company. I am a very nervous dental patient, and they treated me with respect and patience- every time. They never once rushed a thing, even though I know how busy they are. I am so grateful to Dr. Rubin and her entire staff!! So professional and highly recommended!
