If having a root canal can be considered a positive experience, Dr. Dan Utley and his dental assistant made it possible for me. I originally went to St. George Dental Care suffering with a loose implant. Dr. Utley was able to fix the problem within minutes. He was such a personable and gracious individual and just a pleasure to be around that I immediately made an appointment for an evaluation. The examination disclosed I needed a root canal and crowns on my front teeth because of enamel loss. He explained the procedures in detail, which I really appreciated. Both the root canal and crown procedures were totally without discomfort or pain. The results are perfect. I will, without any reservations, recommend St.George Dental Care to anyone seeking a quality dental experience.

Dr. Dan Utley's office was incredibly friendly, patient, and kind. They were just as amazing as my parents said they’d be! If you’re feeling hesitant, don’t be, this team will put you right at ease. Pretty sure I just found my new dentist! 🦷✨🫶🏼

I am NOT happy with the way I was treated at Saint George Dental Care at 444 E Tabernacle Street in St George, Utah and I will NOT be returning! When I arrived for my appointment early and earlier on the phone, I had stated that I have $3,000 dental coverage from my United Health Care plan still left to be used for 2025. I told them that I only wanted procedures done that my dental coverage would cover. I won't go into details about what work was done only that when I was allowed to leave, I went to check out and make another appointment as told to do. That's when I was informed that I owed them $275.00! I said, "what?" I again told her that I only authorized procedures my United Health Care dental coverage of which there is a balance of $3,000 would cover. Then the receptionist told me that some experimental work had been done that was not covered under my insurance. WTH!! I never authorized this to be done and I was never told about it before hand! I consider this to be very dishonest and shady business practice and policy if this is how they try and take advantage of their Senior Citizen clientele. I do not want unauthorized or experimental work being done on me ever and demanding that I pay for it is immoral, unethical and should be illegal! I did not pay for something that I did not authorize nor was I ever told at any time during my appointment that I would be paying out of pocket for some procedure that was never authorized or that was experimental in the first place. In my opinion, this dental business is extremely shady and they try and prey on the most vulnerable of people and perhaps try and pull this deceitful tactic on many unsuspecting patients! I DO NOT RECOMMEND Saint George Dental Care to anyone! Stay away if you don't want them trying to take advantage of you because they will! They also made me feel extremely uncomfortable with their high pressure push to pay for something I did not request. I did, however, go in to get just a normal teeth cleaning which would have been covered, but they failed to provide that for me. Over two hours there and I couldn't get a regular teeth cleaning done! Nothing fancy, just do a thorough cleaning that is covered by my insurance. They wanted to give me experimental procedures instead, ones that aren't covered and they don't tell you that they are experimental and not covered and they are UNNECESSARY and only designed to make them profit at your expense! "Serve your patients honestly, don't serve yourselves first by being dishonest, disreputable, and deceptive!" This is a very dishonest dental practice! I'm also not happy with the work that was done. It came at my own personal expense and I'll end up having to see another dentist. Hopefully one that puts their patients first. This dental practice does not do that! This review of the above St George Dental Care practice deserves a negative rating and should reflect that rating above with no stars-period! Even rating 1 star is more than they deserve! And just for note, I had no tooth pain when I went in. I really just wanted a cleaning which I didn't get! Now I have two molars that are just killing me. Thank you Dr. Tyler Utley. Rebuttal: I've seen your dad, Dr. Dan Utley and I've seen your brother, Dr. Colton Utley. I did not have any problems or issues with either of them and I felt like they did a good job without doing too much unnecessary work or guess work and they never made me feel uneasy or uncomfortable. This is how I felt with you. Like you weren't quite sure of yourself so I'll just drill baby drill anyway! This is not good and does not inspire any confidence! And FYI, I tried to schedule 2 months out in advance of my final appointment date and was unable to. I would have seen any of you earlier but was not afforded an appointment. I was put on a call list and never got a call back. And I've never received a call from you or any kind of voice mail. So please! Hopefully we can all do better and inspire confidence by being honest with ourselves and each other! It is truly lacking here!

Seriously the best experience I've ever had at the dentist. I have severe anxiety with dentists! I didn't feel any pain. The staff is absolutely amazing and sweet. They helped me through the entire anxiety ridden process and made it easy and comfortable (for being at a dentist) If you have dentist anxiety, GO HERE!!!! I recommend them 10000% I'm so happy I found them. Honestly, my anxiety has reduced so much, just from this visit. Best care! Awesome staff! Most amazing dentist I've ever had in my 45 years of life.

Dr Colton spends as much time as you need to feel comfortable with the situation and procedure. I am a nervous patient and he lets me take my time. The staff is friendly and efficient
