I visited Stamford Dental Arts yesterday and got my teeth whitened for the first time. From the moment I walked in til the moment I left it was the best dental visit I’ve ever had. Everyone was friendly and made you feel at ease. Alex who did the whitening was amazing. She explained everything and made me feel very comfortable. The results speak for themselves and I would highly recommend to anyone thinking about it. Dr. Modiri is great and runs a very smooth practice. As someone who used to hate dentist visits I’m delighted to say I found my new home!!
I'm surprised at how great the reviews are. The office looks nice and they offer you all sorts of treats and sodas which seems a little strange. It took them forever to verify my insurance. The lady taking x-rays was clearly new and was a Spanish speaker who didn't speak very good English. At one point, the lady who had been had reception (who was also a hygienist) came in to help with communication. She had to take x-rays a 2nd time because they weren't done properly the 1st time. During the cleaning, multiple times the suction device for removing the liquid was left in for too long and suctioned skin in an uncomfortable way. They also cleverly had this little survey to ask you about why you might not want to return to a dentist to understand your fears. It felt like an experienced way to know when and how to upsell someone. Dr. Modiri did ask if I was comfortable having the dog roam around. I didn't mind, but it does seem unprofessional to have a dog roaming around during a dental visit. Dr. Modiri was fine although not as good as the amazing dentist I had in Seattle. They do try to get you to give a review right away. The whole experience felt like a slick car salesman who knows how to game the reviews. However, it also felt sloppy.
Alex and Dr. Modiri are so great! They explained everything so well - and made me comfortable in the chair with a ton of jaw pain. Great dentist office. Thank you!!
A really great practice— I come here for my usual dental care, and that has been terrific. I also come for my Invisalign treatments, and I am so glad that I am doing this here. The staff is incredibly friendly and the use of technology makes everything seamless. Dr. Modiri is the best, as is the rest of the entire staff— Catalina, John, and Hannah— all are just so friendly and accommodating, and make dental care less of a trial and more something I look forward to. And Arlo is an incredible sweetheart!
Best doctor, staff & family dog! Everyone is extremely welcoming. The staff keeps open communication throughout the entire visit. I couldn’t recommend them enough!
