I just had oral surgery through Summit to remove a bad wisdom tooth. The staff were so nice and very comforting to me. The dentist was amazing! Gentle and assuring and fast! I am so happy with this experience! I highly recommend this place
When I schedule the appointment in the beginning of the month, I made it clear that the only option they had for the entire month was a little too early and then I would need some flexibility and I was told that I would have a 15 minute window and as long as I communicated, I would be fine. I called the day off to let them know that I will be about 15 minutes late and they told me that it was too late and that they don’t have that flexibility and that I would have to be there within 5 to 10 minutes of my scheduled appointment time which was not what I was promised initially. I called to complain that I was lied to to the supervisor and she got very argumentative And then told me that she could’ve helped me, but because I was upset about how I was misled that she was not willing to help me. Why would I not be upset? I had a very specific timeframe. I needed to get all of this taken care of him and was very transparent ahead of time and forfeited appointments and opportunities with other offices because I was assured they would make this work for me. Stay away from these people they would rather argue And B, right than help people
Got another tooth pulled for an implant. Dr Wimsatt explains everything he’s doing and was quick and painless. Excellent Office staff too. I will be back
Summit Oral Surgery Doctor is really good at his job. I had 2 wisdom teeth removed, my daughter had her 4 wisdom teeth removed with them. I had no swelling after the extraction, my daughter had minimal swelling for 2 days after the extraction, almost no pain days to follow. I didn’t have to take any painkillers. The only thing, is their front desk and nurses are pretty rude 😩 I give them five stars, I am happy with the results.
The office manager is an ill tempered, unprofessional, nasty piece of work. She was belittling a patient on the phone while my daughter and I walked in. My daughter was a ball of nerves on the verge of tears while sitting in the lobby waiting for her oral surgery. I told the office manager so. So I am completely confused as to why she treated my daughter the way she did. She accused my daughter of doing things she didn’t do, leaned over the desk and raised her voice towards my daughter who then started to cry. When I interjected she accuse me of lying. Then she tried to gaslight me. Never have I ever been treated so disrespectfully by anyone who works a front desk especially not the office manager. Beside her atrocious behavior she also didn’t contact our insurance to answer some questions she had. She told me I had to do that. She also wasn’t able to give me a quote. My insurance sent her information telling her what percentage they would cover. She still wasn’t able to give me an exact number. I’m wondering if she knows how to do simple math. I’ve never been so disappointed with a medical establishment. SUMMIT ORAL only does ORAL SURGERY. My guess is most of the patients are probably nervous or stressed out while waiting. And the fact that this woman has no tact or compassion for the people she serves is irresponsible. Looking back over the reviews it seems everyone else seems to feel the same. The doctor did a good job, but the front staff was horrible. I bet they lose business because of her. I’m actually surprised she’s still employed.
