Within 15 seconds of walking through our office doors in Provo, UT, you will be greeted by a member of our friendly and welcoming dental team, many of whom have been with us since day one almost 10 years ago. Our waiting room is equipped with modern decor and comfortable, elegant furniture, and every aspect of our office has been designed with the patient's comfort, satisfaction, and well-being in mind. Meet Dr. Jason D. Nicholson Dr. Nicholson is a board-certified periodontist. He attended the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. Following completion of his dental training, he next pursued a specialty in periodontics at the University of Oklahoma Graduate Periodontics program. Here, he completed his three-year residency with a certificate in periodontics. During his residency, he also completed a master's program and earned the Graduate Student Association Award for outstanding academic achievement. Board certification is a choice and symbol representing a level of commitment to care that is second to none. Board certification is not a requirement to practice periodontics following a three-year residency. Dr. Nicholson chose to complete his board certification to ensure his knowledge and skill set met or exceeded the highest levels of care established in the field of periodontics.

As much as I hate dental work in general... I had such a great experience at Sundance. Dr. Nicholson is so warm, he’s very talented and did a phenomenal job. Every member of his staff is beyond friendly and welcoming, such a great team.
Dr. Nicholson and his staff are amazing. The office is spotless, bright, and everyone is extremely professional and friendly. His work is exceptional. We were hoping to place the implant the first day, but Dr. Nicholson felt like a bone graft should be done first. I appreciated the fact that he didn’t just do it fast, but is doing it correctly. I am extremely happy with the service he provides.
My experience at Sundance Implant and Periodontal Center was very positive. Dr. Nicholson told me up front that I was not a good candidate for the gum graft procedure, and did not push me. As it turned out, some ground was gained, which I saw as a positive outcome. I had heard about how painful gum grafts were, but the procedure turned out to be less painful than anticipated because they created a custom shield for the roof of my mouth (a "stent") that protected the donation area while I ate in the weeks afterward. (It is the donation site, not the site of the graft, that causes the most pain.) Without the shield, it WOULD have been very painful. Dr. Nicholson and the staff were very pleasant and professional.
I've been a patient of Dr. Nicholson for more than a year and I cannot say enough amazing things about him and his entire staff!! He is incredible kind and compassionate as a person and an excellent professional. His team is just as amazing as he is and I'd recommend anyone who needs his services to definitely consider using Dr. Nicholson, you won't regret it.
My experience has been nothing but awesome with this place. From the lovely receptionists, to the Drs and assistants they always took great care with me. My procedure went well, but I was worried about the healing process and the Dr was always helpful in answering all my questions and concerns. Everything turned out great! -April Christensen
