I am blessed beyond words to have been referred by a precious friend to Sunset Dental. I've had bad experiences in the past with dental services and needed extensive work done. Dr. Ratliff and his amazing staff made me comfortable and went out of their way to help me throughout every step of the process. I no longer dread dental appointments and will forever be thankful to each one of them for helping me get my smile back!
I felt like I needed to leave a review just on their service so far. I have not even been to this office yet, however, they called me the day after I placed a request seeking a dentist that would accept my insurance. I spoke to 2 different ladies there so far and they both have been phenomenal. I expressed my anxiety to one of the ladies, Libby, I believe is what her name was, and she already put some of my anxieties at ease before I even stepped into their doors. I’m honestly looking forward to meeting these ladies in person and I’m hoping they can take me on as one of their new patients.
I am very particular about the dentists I choose. First and foremost, they need to be pain free because I am super anxious going for visits. Dr. Ratliff and his staff are pros. He is a GREAT dentist, patient and compassionate, and also always make me feel calmer by explaining everything he is doing one step at a time. He makes sure to listen and he and his team exceeded my expectations. I had a lot of work done including multiple crowns which required several visits over a long stretch of time. I just finished with my last crown and I am so pleased with the work. Each time I had to go back, I was less anxious because I knew exactly what to expect. I highly recommend this practice.
Friendly and kind staff from the front reception to dental assistants to hygienists to Dr. Ratliff that make you feel welcomed and comfortable. Thorough and gentle and explain everything being done. I definitely recommend Sunset Dental.
Went to Sunset dental as a new patient today. I have very sensitive teeth and the hygienist, Gina, was amazing. Very gentle, very courteous, and thoughtful, and she had a great gel that numbed the sensitivity before she began cleaning. I met the dentist, Dr Ratliff, and the office staff and they were all caring and friendly. Prices were reasonable and I was given estimates in advance.
