Synergy Periodontics and Implants

Yesterday my husband had extensive surgery at Synergy Periodontics: multiple extractions, implant placements, and one repair of a faulty implant placed by another doctor. It took a bit more than two hours, just what Dr. Dounis had estimated when we met with him for an evaluation. At that first visit, he and his assistant, Rachelle, took the necessary time and investigation to be sure they had identified everything he needed, and they offered several alternative treatment plans. My husband has written his own review, but I wanted to add my admiration as well. A lot is written and said these days about how the medical profession is just about money anymore; but Dr. Dounis and Rachelle are as dedicated and professionally excellent as the best doctors of any era. We were impressed from the moment we walked into the office that first time — I have never before seen patients walk IN to a dentist’s office smiling! Their waiting area is comfortable and inviting, with original art on the walls. But the most appealing element is the people. Everyone throughout the offices is unfailingly friendly, kind, well prepared, and responsive. When we arrived for my husband’s surgery, we had less than a five-minute wait before Rachelle herself called him to the operating room. And about halfway through, she came to let me know that all was going well. When they were finished, Rachelle met with us in a private room to go over the written post-surgery instructions, and she provided my husband with the personal cell phone number of Dr. Dounis — as is settled policy for all three surgeons in the practice. In fact, Dr. Dounis called my husband last evening to see how he was doing and if he needed anything or had any questions. The instructions were clear and well written, presented in an attractive and readable format. Along with the instructions and the phone number, Rachelle presented us with a little gift bag containing a delicious soup for my husband.

Exceptional care at Synergy Periodontics & Implants I had an excellent experience at Synergy Periodontics & Implants in Fredericksburg for oral surgery related to recessed gums. From start to finish, the entire team was gentle, understanding, and incredibly professional. They took the time to explain each step of the process and made sure I felt comfortable and reassured throughout the procedure. The office itself is spotless, calming, and beautifully designed—I especially loved the purple motif, which adds a unique and welcoming touch. Appointments were right on time, and the staff was consistently friendly, attentive, and compassionate, which made a big difference during what could have been a stressful experience. I’m truly grateful for the high level of care and kindness I received. Synergy was such a great experience from beginning to end. I love the staff how each and everyone of them are trained in all areas and diverse. They explained evertyhing throughly for my implant and the process could not have went smoothly. The equipment is phenomenal!! Dr. Dounis is great with his energy and knowledge for my procedure and Shannon was super friendly! Definitely recommend!!
