I would not recommend using this practice as they use very unethical billing practices. I had surgery recently and the staff was very kind and accommodating. The issue is their billing procedure. When they gave me the total they wanted prepaid before the procedure, it was about 650 dollars after my insurance. I agreed and had the procedure only to receive another bill for 750 dollars after the procedure. When I called and asked they said this was due to using more anesthesia than they thought and I would have to pay the remainder. This was not told to me beforehand that they could do this as I verified before the procedure what my final total was. When I said this felt wrong they then changed the amount to a different billing rate but I still owed around 250 dollars. When i received this itemized bill, I was being charged for almost an hour and half of anesthesia when my surgery started an hour late with no one in the room and I have messages I sent on my phone showing I wasn’t even in surgery for that long. They told me these were valid charges and I had to pay. I would recommend staying away from this practice at all costs due to their unethical billing practices.
Dr. Selvaraj removed 25 teeth successfully with full IV Sedation. Everything healed perfectly with no issues. I have severe dental anxiety and had to be fully sedated bc of this. Once the Dr. Came in the room, within 2 minutes, I was asleep. He got right to work. Which is how it should be when dealing with anxiety. I will say. I had to wait close to an hour for him. That was difficult and in the time I waited, my anxiety was mounting and I considered even leaving but my husband wouldnt let me. I was told by his staff he was stuck in traffic and lived quite far. (I was the 1st appt at 8 am) but when the dr. Arrived, he told me he was late bc of a leg injury... either way. At the end of the day, he took great care of me and did a fantastic, thorough, clean , efficient job. I had some bad reactions to the antibiotics, had to change antibiotics, etc. Turns out it was actually my gut biome that was off. I added culturelle probiotic and florastor 4 hours before I took each antibiotic dose which saved me. I can deal with pain, but I was nauseous with a fever and chills and hives so so sick and that i could not deal with. Thank God for Culturelle & Florastor (if youre having issues- take 4 hours before antibiotic) Each time Natasha from their office called me, she was unbelievably helpful and kind as I navigated my healing. She couldn't recommend these products necessarily bc she didn't prescribe them she said, but she was supportive and knowledgeable and helpful nonetheless. Before I fell asleep , the person who stood out the most to me was Hailey. She had a soft touch and a nurturance that is so often absent from western medicine altogether. Her vibe was so comforting to me as I was freaking out before getting put under. She is a special person and in the right line of work. That type of softness is so needed. I really really appreciated her that day. I am in recovery so I was apprehensive about taking narcotic pain meds but bc of the severity of my procedure, I did accept. They prescribed only 6 percoset which was perfect. I used 3 of them the first day and threw out the other 3 the next morning as I didn't think id need them and I decided id rather not play with fire. The office was helpful and informative when I expressed my concerns in regards to my recovery before the surgery even took place so I could have a plan in place for the day of. The ladies at the front desk were also kind and compassionate. All in all, I am very happy with my treatment. And I am so relieved that my body can truly heal now without constant pain and infection ravaging my poor body. My dentures dont fit right yet but I know they will be perfect once they are fitted. (I got them made somewhere else) Thank you all again for your excellent and high standards of care. It has made a big difference and allowed me to have a successful and safe surgical experience and recovery. Id say id use you again but i have no teeth so i wont ever have to. LOL. But down the line, if i consider implants, you will be the only place i would go. Thank you again.
Excellent practice!!! From the moment I walked into the Belair office, they made me feel comfortable and cared for. For a procedure that I should have been very nervous for, they made me feel so relaxed and not worried at all. When I say they went above and beyond I truly mean it. I highly recommend them.
Horrible practice. Our initial appointment got rescheduled for a month later. At our appointment had a long wait time to see Dr. Forrest. Then there was no availability to have my son's wisdom teeth removed prior to school starting. I called weekly and was able to get his appointment changed to 3 weeks before school starting. My son's appointment for his wisdom teeth removal by Dr. Forrest was for 2:15pm. They called to see if we could come at 2:45 because she was running late. The procedure didn't start until after 4! We were rushed out of recovery because staff wanted to leave. Now I am dealing with being overcharged for the procedure by almost $1000. Will NEVER use this practice again for any oral surgeries.
Made an appointment for an extraction over three weeks ago and had given them all my insurance information when making it to be sure they took it and she told me they did . Received a call today from them letting me know they had made a mistake and do not take my insurance so now I’m going to have to wait at least another month to get in somewhere else to get this pulled . If they had just done their job correctly to begin with and verified the insurance instead of lieing and saying they did I wouldn’t have to suffer with unbearable pain for another month . If they can’t even make appointments correctly I guess I’m lucky to not be going there because they obviously lack common sense .
