Powered by GoogleThe staff is so nice and helpful here. Dr Brandner does really good work. I had to get several wisdom teeth and other surgically removed its not a fun experience and its cost lots of money but they all really make you feel comfortable and confident at oms center . They know what they are doing i trust dr Brandner .
Dr Brandner was great with my son, making him feel very comfortable throughout the entire surgery process, from the consultation to the surgery and the followup visit. He and his staff are fantastic.
Medically speaking I am impressed with how easy healing has been after having all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed just yesterday. I really appreciate the recommendation of eating like normal immediately and continuing normal activities the day after surgery. Pain is manageable and swelling is minimal. However, the staff couldn't answer my questions during consultation and got frustrated with me asking why new x-rays were necessary when I had them sent over already. The staff member got angry and snapped "it's for personal reasons" because I wasn't accepting "because you have to" as a reason. Then they were very pushy about me taking phenergin and Ativan before the surgery. I have really bad reactions to antianxiety and sedatives and I tried to stand up for myself but was argued that I should take them. I denied the Ativan but took the phenergin for "nausea" and became incredibly irritable had a bad headache and felt sick to my stomach, just as I told them would happen taking sedatives. Also, after surgery they tried to tell me my husband couldn't come get me and they had to walk me to my car. I refused to move because there's no actual reason for it. A staff member said "you can sit there all day then" and so I continued to refuse to get up. There's no reason to not be accommodating to your patient who has expressed multiple times they have bad anxiety especially when I expressed it is heightened and worse when I come out of anesthesia. They eventually let him come get me but the lack of patience the staff had for my anxiety was frustrating especially because I wasn't ugly to anyone and was even writing to them I was scared of being mean on accident. Medically they were phenomenal, but socially they could have been a little more understanding, believe people when they tell you they have bad reactions to medications and realize not everyone is going to accept "because" as a reason.
Dr. Joshua Brandner and his staff were awesome. I had my consultation and was able to book my surgery immediately after. He was very polite and informative when I asked questions and he was understanding of my anxiety. For those with anxiety about dentists or oral surgery, you are in good hands with Dr. Brandner and his staff. His staff are sweethearts, especially the day of my surgery. I never felt uncomfortable or mistreated. They are conveniently located in a great downtown area near the Hammond post-office and across from the clerk of courts building. The facilities are clean and spacious, wheelchair or disability - accessible, and they provide in room music to help with nerves. They also provide great post-op instructions and care. I will definitely be recommending this practice to my family and friends.
It’s only day two of my recovery after my wisdom teeth removal. Dr. Bradner did a great job. My pain is minimal and I have no swelling. He also has a nice, professional staff. I highly recommend him!
