I had an exceptional experience with Dr. Kalinsky From the moment I walked in. I felt truly listened to and cared for. His explanation was very clear, thorough, and reassuring—yet delivered with genuine warmth and compassion. He took the time to answer all my questions, never rushed the visit, and made sure I fully understood my care plan. I left feeling confident and respected. I highly recommend this doctor Kalinsky to anyone seeking outstanding oral surgeon /specialist.

A lot of paper work, however Dr Weitzman read it all and asked me questions about my answers! First doctor to do that. He explained everything to me about my issue, and said at this point, I don’t need surgery. His staff is helpful and nice as well. I definitely would recommend him and his practice.

My experience in the Oral Surgery and Implant Center is always positive. I am a patient of a wonderful, highly skillful surgeon Dr. Weitzman for 20 years. He is the most reliable, honest and compassionate doctor. My sister was happy to become a patient here as well. If you are looking to have implants or need a surgery, call Dr. Howard Weitzman for the highest quality treatment. I did 20 years ago!

Went for a consultation for an impacted wisdom tooth. They took a panoramic X-ray, gave me the price of $83 which I agreed to. In the rush of performing X-rays, they performed a cone beam and did not disclose the price to me (which is a significant $275) until I receive the bill in the mail. One would think that since I asked for pricing generally and knowing my insurance was maxed out on X-rays, that the $275 should have been disclosed to me before performing the cone beam. I thought it was part of the panoramic but hey, what do I know, I’m not in the dental billing practice. I see another google review that has the same complaint as well. The total cost to me of consultation and X-rays is more than the actual surgical procedure that I got from Leading Edge on Woodhaven Blvd. The 1-2 stars goes to Dr. Galinsky’s assistant, she was very kind. Dr. Galinsky himself was informative in the consultation though seemed intent on removing the other 2 wisdom teeth that had erupted just fine many years ago and doesn’t bother me. He wasn’t entirely confident in the removal of the impacted one because it’s near a nerve (I appreciate the honesty), and therefore I’m glad I went for a second opinion elsewhere. It is still just bad business practice to not provide full disclosure of pricing and surprising your customer with it. The No Surprises Act doesn’t often extend to dental practices, it really should. Additionally, one of the receptionists in the office on a Sunday was too curt and defensive when I had called to make sure my insurance was accepted. Her response “well, you would have been told if it wasn’t accepted..” and hung up abruptly. It’s always worth double checking especially when dealing with insurance coverage, it wasn’t an accusation. Be professional, not emotional.

Staff was very pleasant and I was taken in at my appointment time. Dr Weitzman explained everything so I can understand what was being done as well as next steps. Did not feel rushed. Highly recommend the practice
