Patient Reviews
Powered by GoogleI've went to several dentist in the past where all they cared about was money and not about the patient. At TLC in Bluefield. All I have ever received is compassion and caring and not so much about the money. I've had a lot of extractions done here due to my teeth being bad and each time I've been greeted with compassion and caring. 10/10 recommend them to anyone at anytime for any dental needs. Because of them I was finally about to get all my bad teeth removed and feel so much better.
The dentist in charge of putting on my veneers was as disrespectful as he was incompetent. From filing miscommunications to shoddy execution, it didn't even hold up a month before I woke up to shards in my mouth from the veneer breaking. We waited to have it replaced, thankfully it wasn't the tooth that was made sensitive to touch from him grinding it too much, otherwise it would've been a long couple weeks. During the replacement which took even more painful grinding, it was bonded on sideways, and he had the nerve to blame my parent for "not pointing it out", as if it wasn't clear as day. I recommend this to Noone, regardless of location or price. Further and more expensive is preferable to such disgusting treatment. The years of college he spent gaining his degree, were years wasted.
I went to this dentist because I was advised to but I have never experienced any thing like this. I had 7 extracted teeth, he gave me a percription for antibodies and pain meds. This was done on a Thursday. By Sunday I could feel two sharp things on my gums( and I was hurting),I called the office on Monday and was told he would not be in until Thursday. I explained what was going on so she said can you wait. She came back to the phone and said for me to come in the next day at 8am.. I was called back to the room and Dental Hygienist touch the bone fragments that was causing my trouble but she said she wouldn’t put me through pain so the dentist came in ( he never said anything to me, he just started pulling the bone fragments out. He didn’t even numb me. I was in so much pain. After experiencing the pain he said “I will write you a prescription for pain. I left that place crying and I couldn’t believe that he did that. I have debated on saying what happened to me but then I thought if he is doing me like this then I should tell my experience
Unless you're under the age of 21 , forget it — especially if you have state Medicaid , they don't cover anything but extractions which means if you're from a low income household or work a low income job and looking to get a root canal , dentures , implants a cleaning dentures, or braces forget about it all they cover are exams and extractions. Because y'know people have ten of thousands of dollars just laying around which means you have to sacrifice your oral health because like most dentists in west virginia they're way too expensive and are too Good to take adult medicaid d Dr. Conklin on the other hand, one of the nicest people you could ever meet during my extraction he ket asking if I was alright.
Mom shaming patients is not right!!!! My daughter came in for an appt an the assistant was rude to her due to the kids being with her. Under normal circumstances I myself would have kept the kids but had an accident this morning myself an couldn't. So instead of canceling the appt she took them thinking they'd understand but no quite the opposite. Some ppl don't have help for many different reasons an you should absolutely not be mean but have respect, understanding and human compassion. I nor anyone I know will ever go there!!!!!!
