I had high hopes for a better dental experience after moving from another state. Many offices made me nervous due to a lack of responsiveness and limited appointment availability. With Tranquility, I was able to book my appointment online with ease and unlike past experiences, I didn’t receive a last-minute cancellation email, which was a huge relief. I originally came in for an Invisalign consultation, but I loved that I could also have my general dentist in the same place. That convenience alone was a big win. Everyone on staff was kind and welcoming, but I especially want to highlight my experience with Tana, who truly took my visit to the next level. She showed so much care and thoughtfulness in helping me with my dental hygiene needs. I started my deep cleaning process that same day, and while I was nervous going in, it was nowhere near as scary as I expected. The experience honestly felt luxurious, from the heated vibrating chair and cozy blanket to her offering chapstick and even helping me apply it when my lips got dry during the cleaning. Those small details made a huge difference and helped me feel relaxed and cared for. The front desk team was also incredibly helpful. Every question I had was answered thoroughly, and I never felt rushed. I almost want to gatekeep this place because of how great the experience was but truly, I hope others get to experience the same level of care. Moving forward, I feel confident that I’m in very good hands here.
The staff here was amazing everyone was kind, welcoming, and professional. I truly appreciated how friendly and helpful they were throughout my visit. Unfortunately, my experience with the doctor was very different. When he came into the room, he didn’t introduce himself or even say hello. The first thing he said was, “Weren’t we supposed to do your bridge?” The interaction felt cold and uncomfortable. It honestly came across like he was upset that I didn’t complete my previous dental work with him. I understand that continuity of care is important, but bedside manner matters just as much. A simple greeting and respectful communication would have made a big difference. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, because the rest of the team was wonderful.
Amazing experience at Tranquility Dental in Lacey. The staff is friendly, professional, and made me feel comfortable from start to finish. Everything was explained clearly, the environment is calm and welcoming . The office feels more like a relaxing spa than a dentist’s office, which really helps take the stress out of dental visits. I also appreciated how upfront they were about costs and care options. Hands down the best dental experience I’ve had. Highly recommend Tranquility Dental .
I began treatment with Invisalign at Tranquility Dental four years ago and was initially told my treatment would take approximately four months. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing. On multiple occasions, my appointments were incorrectly scheduled as routine cleanings instead of Invisalign adjustment visits. As a result, my aligner changes occurred every 6–8 weeks rather than the recommended two-week intervals. Several times, my aligners were reportedly lost by the office, which caused further delays and rescheduling. What was supposed to be a four-month plan ultimately stretched into 14 months. During this extended treatment period, my two back molars broke. When I raised concerns, I was told it was not a significant issue and that it would be fixed, but I did not feel my concerns were taken seriously. After losing my retainer, I attended three separate appointments for measurements and impressions, yet I never received a replacement. During these visits, I witnessed office staff being reprimanded harshly for advocating on my behalf, which was deeply uncomfortable and concerning. Due to these experiences, I cannot recommend Tranquility Dental. In contrast, Lacey Modern Dental completely restored my confidence. Dr. Shannon at their Yelm Highway office carefully corrected the issues caused during my previous treatment. The team was professional, compassionate, and highly attentive. They advocate for their patients and maintain a supportive environment for their staff, which was evident throughout my care. After spending approximately $12,000 at Tranquility Dental and feeling embarrassed about my smile for four years, Lacey Modern Dental resolved my dental issues for $1,700 and gave me back the confidence to smile again. I am incredibly grateful for the care I received at Lacey Modern Dental and highly recommend them to anyone seeking quality, patient-centered dental treatment.
Super attentive and helpful! Also loved the calm atmosphere. I had not been to the dentist in over four years and had a lot of tarter buildup but they did a great job making sure I was comfortable for the whole experience. The massage chair was also a nice bonus. I will for sure be going in regularly from now on!
