I got a gum graft done here and can’t recommend this practice enough. Dr. Bankhead was super generous with his time in my consultation and really helped me understand the procedure and what it would be like. He has a ton of experience behind him, so I didn’t feel nervous going into the surgery. Every member of his staff is so incredibly kind and it made the experience such a positive one. Plus, their soft-serve ice cream machine makes visits fun
I went to both Utah Valley Periodontics and Pinnacle Periodontics for a consultation and while both seemed like professional and competent clinics I really appreciated Dr. Bankhead and Dr. Sandak's ability to talk with me about my gums and teeth, explain procedures and care for my gums, and help me make the decision that was best for myself. The whole support team at Utah Valley Periodontics including LeAnn on the financial side of working with insurance and preparing for the cost of care were super helpful in guiding me through the process and always friendly.
Dr. Bankhead and his staff are fabulous! I have been a patient for more than 3 years, I have had 2 gum grafts, bone grafting and all of my periodic cleanings with them. They are very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. I have never felt rushed and always treated with respect and care. Each surgery has been successful, the care exceptional during the procedures and follow up from the Dr and staff is awesome. I wouldn't consider using anyone else and consistently recommend them!
Dr Bankhead and his staff have been very personable and caring during the procedures performed on severely infected area in a molar which had extended into to the bone and sinus tissues. The Office staff made every effort to schedule my needs in a timely manner and information was given regarding the procedures and my financial concerns were addressed. The office environment is peaceful as large windows showcase the beautiful mountain landscape. Offers of refreshment for those waiting for patients is thoughtful and appreciated. The knowledgeable Medical staff was very sensitive and informative as they allayed my fears and concerns about the tooth extraction and the bone grafting that was performed. I appreciated the personal phone inquiry made by Dr Bankhead the evening after my surgery. I would definitely recommend Utah Valley Periodontics to anyone needing professional periodontal expertise! March 2018 Four months later the first steps of a dental implant has begun. Again, the experience was very positive. The office staff recognized me and called me by name when we interacted. The new receptionist introduced herself to me and was very responsive to my needs. Every procedure was explained and my comfort needs were totally met. I have experienced little discomfort or problems post anesthesia and during the recovery. I appreciated the short post op procedure instructions which were concise and to the point. I will definitely add Dr Bankhead as a referral to anyone needing periodontal care!
Dr. Bankhead and his team are seriously the BEST! They've always been so kind and respectful, and have really worked with me to make sure I have the best experience possible. As someone who has major anxiety about any medical/dental treatments, I can actually say that I enjoy going to my appointments because everyone is SO great! They are skilled, caring, just plain fun to be around, and I completely trust them. :) I was SO worried about finding the right practice for my not-exactly-typical dental needs, and I can definitely say I found it at Utah Valley Periodontics!
