Patient Reviews
Powered by GoogleMy visit was a short, new patient evaluation which turned out that I do not need any additional procedures or anything. So my overall experience was great. From the front staff, the technician and then Dr McNamara, everyone was so kind and attentive. The office is spacious, clean and inviting.
Great service. Staff and dentist were pleasant and professional. I went in for a consult and to have my last wisdom tooth removed. They gave me options for anesthesia, which I really appreciated. I opted for the numbing shots instead of general anesthesia. They provided clear instructions for after-care. Dr. Taylor is a Rockstar!! He had my tooth out in about 5 minutes and sent me in my way. Best wisdom tooth extraction ever. 🎉👍🏽
Edit: I had to stay to get part of my root canal paid for. DO NOT pay for the nitrous. It doesn’t work. I’ve had nitrous so many times in my life- I know what it feels like. It even makes things you hear sound wobbly. I feel scammed and don’t think it was on. They wouldn’t answer other questions I had. About a different tooth. I was shaking and crying the whole time I wasn’t numbed all the way either. Worst place I’ve had dental services at. They don’t even send you home with antibiotics or any pain meds. Joslyn needs better bedside manner too Edit 2: I thought the nitrous was $50 they charges $350! My out of pocket cost for the root canal was 300 I asked how much would it be to add the nitrous they said 350 so I said not bad thinking it was just 50 more added. And I got a new receipt. They didn’t explain enough or answer all of my questions. This is insane and just more reason to be angry. Why would I ever pay more for nitrous that doesn’t even work then the OOP cost of the work itself… wow. I got referred here from el rio to get a root canal. I had my xrays and plan already done just sent there because I’d be seen faster. They said they needed their own X-rays which was another $400 then I didn’t even get the root canal they said they had to ask insurance. With a quote of 2300 the insurance won’t do it but they said they’d ask anyway I also had a plan in place from el rio but they had to poke around and put ice stuff making me cry even more in so much pain. Didn’t even offer to do a temporary tempit fix with numbing (el rio did this for me and it lasted about a month) so I could atleast a little relief. So I’m just stuck there crying and they made me sign papers and leave. I couldn’t even have time to gather my emotions and pain and stop crying in the chair I just had to walk out crying like a baby it was embarrassing. I wish I caught her name she was just rude to me too. I don’t want to go back. All their stuff looks old too. For as much as they charge you would think it would look nicer. An open plan where you can see everyone else getting worked on without doors is weird to me.
Toothe extraction was done smoothly and painless from shoots to extraction. Staff was friendly and rooms clean. Only concern was the tiny waiting room for size of place. Was packed full when I arrived and stood outside. The care was excellent.
I took my wife to see this oral surgeon for an evaluation. After the appointment they sent this link to do a Google review of their services. They have not performed any services yet so I cannot evaluate them. Businesses have started doing that lately. They send out survey links to patients/customers wanting Google reviews before they have even performed the treatment or services that they have recommended for review. I understand that they want good reviews but how about wait till the job is complete before you ask for a positive review of your treatment or service. The more I read the reviews left by other patients I am cautiously optimistic about my wife's treatment!
