We had a welcoming receptionist who told us what we'd be expecting. The dental assistant was very informative and provided ample feedback when we asked questions. The surgery (wisdom teeth extractions) took next to no time, and the doctor was out to tell me about the procedure and next steps within about 30 minutes of entry. We were sent home with care instructions and multiple routes of communication if case of questions or concerns. If wisdom teeth grew back, we'd get them removed at Valley Oral and Facial Surgery every time!
My son was able toschedule quickly for wisdom teeth extraction. Staff was friendly, patient and informative. Dr. Frokjer was very personable and down to earth, which we really appreciated. Surgery was quick with no complications. Would definitely recommend. Also the facility was nice and clean.
Wow! This place exceeded all my expectations. Dr. Frokjer and his entire team did an incredible job. I was extremely nervous about my tooth extraction due to past bad dental experiences, but from the moment I scheduled the appointment, everyone was friendly, welcoming, and truly went above and beyond. The morning of my appointment I was full of anxiety, but after talking with Dr. Frokjer and his team, I immediately felt comfortable and confident that I had chosen the right place. Their calm, reassuring approach made all the difference. I’ve had other wisdom teeth extracted in the past and was in pain for a week or two afterward. This time was completely different — Dr. Frokjer did such an excellent job that there were moments I genuinely forgot I’d even had a tooth extracted. I’m incredibly grateful for the care I received and will absolutely return here for any future oral surgery needs. Highly recommend!
My daughter had several teeth pulled yesterday. I can't thank Valley Oral and Facial Surgery enough. We had a very positive experience and I highly recommend them. My daughter was very scared and nervous to get her teeth pulled, they were so professional and reassuring that everything would be ok. They took very good care of her and we are so thankful for that.
The staff was fast and efficient, and during the appointment they did a good job explaining what was happening while getting me ready to have my wisdom teeth out. We had a consultation before I was taken back, and they let my husband (who was also my driver) sit in on that, which I appreciated. The biggest issue was after the surgery. We weren’t really told much about post-op care. They mentioned pain meds, an antibiotic (not even sure if we actually got one), and syringes for dry socket, but nothing was explained in detail. This was our first time dealing with oral surgery, so we didn’t know what we were supposed to do. We later found out there were post-op instructions in the bag they sent us home with, but no one pointed that out or went over it with us. Because of that, we ended up doing some things wrong during recovery. The surgery itself went fine, but better communication after would have made the whole experience a lot less stressful.
