I was HIGHLY, HIGHLY impressed with Dr Wilburn at Platt Prosthodontics. He took my cracked tooth issue very seriously - was extremely patient, thorough, and made sure I had all my questions answered. This was the BEST consultation I ever had, on so many levels. Equally important: He treats you like a real person, not a number, and makes your questions and concerns feel validated. He advocates for doing the most conservative treatment possible, first, which is exactly what most people want and need in dental care. He even gave me his card and said I could have my next dentist call him and talk about his recommended treatment, if needed. I feel like Dr Wilburn is truly cares and is has the patient's best interest in mind. He exceeded expectations - would give him 10 stars, if possible.
Wow, I can’t believe anyone left a bad review. I have had so many many bad experiences with dentists and doctors I feel lucky to have found Dr Platt. He and his staff are both very gentle and competent. I am still in the middle of having my smile fixed so I am still wearing temporary crowns. Even so they look more natural and have remained on longer than the supposed permanent crowns I had put on in woodland. Dr Platt is truly an artist taking many factors into consideration before designing your new smile; including long term overall health, bone and mouth health, comfort, cost, and even the overall appearance of your mouth and face. Not only does my mouth look one thousand times better while open but my smile while my mouth is closed is even better. I have had regular maintenance done there as well and was treated with kindness and patience. The cleaning I received was gentle and complete. I cannot recommend Dr Platt enough. He will remain my dentist always.
I recently worked with Dr. Benjamin Platt on restoring the appearance of my tooth #8, which had been implanted back in 2000 by another doctor. Achieving symmetry with the adjacent tooth #9 was a significant challenge, and after much thought, I decided to replace both teeth for the best outcome. Dr. Platt exceeded all expectations. For tooth #8, he created an innovative solution: a gum-like structure for the veneer to sit on, compensating for the gum tissue I had lost over the years. This ensured tooth #8 was not overly tall and resulted in a beautifully natural and symmetrical appearance. Dr. Platt’s meticulous attention to detail, creativity, and exceptional skill made all the difference. I am thrilled with the results and highly recommend him to anyone seeking top-notch prosthodontic care!
I'm honestly so thrilled with my experience at this office with all the fine office and support staff, and especially with Dr. Wilburn. He is professional, kind and understanding, thorough, precise and exceptionally talented at his practice. I received four veneers in August and couldn't be more pleased with the results. The teeth look better than I could have hoped for, they look like my natural teeth, but elevated. The technology they use here is also very advanced and they leave no stone unturned ensuring that your bite and alignment will be feeling right, not impacted negatively by the procedure, and keep the dental as protected as possible. Dr. Wilburn and the team at Platt Prosthodontics worked with me every step of the way. When discussing payment options, they were helpful with providing resources. They consistently listened, considered my aesthetic needs and desires, and they proved time and again that I could trust them and the whole process. It is a big investment and something I had been wanting to do for nearly a decade. I'm so glad I waited until the time was right and I connected with Dr. Wilburn. Not only is he skilled and passionate about his profession, but he is genuinely friendly and makes you feel welcome and understood. He takes the time during each visit to thoroughly explain, to allow patients plenty of opportunity to ask questions, and he will seek solutions that meet the desired results. I am so happy I found Dr. Wilburn and his office! I've been getting lots of compliments on my teeth from friends and family who knew I was going through the process of getting four veneers on my top front teeth, but colleagues and strangers really have no idea because they look so real and natural. I'm delighted with the results and can't recommend Dr. Wilburn and this office enough!
