I was comfortable from the minute I walked in despite so much anxiety beforehand about my visit and what they would find. Dr. Volner was so kind and explained everything. I would highly recommend Volner Family Dental.

My first time with them. Everyone was very kind and welcoming. They explained everything very clearly. They took me seriously and found my issue. I'm already scheduled to go back for teeth cleaning, and plan to have them as my dentist regularly.

I went to Dr. Volner as a new patient who already has tremendous anxiety with dentists and dental work. When I went in to get a tooth pulled and a screw put in for an implant, he character completely changed. The gas and pills I was given did not work quite as well on me and I did not choose the IV sedation because of the high cost. He told me I am going to pull your tooth now. I said ok. Then he started drilling on my tooth. I raised my hand and he stopped. I asked if you are just pulling the tooth, why are you drilling on it? He answered the question and it made sense to me. I do not have experience in dental work but I understood. Then he just became disrespectful, unprofessional, and borderline hostile to me. He said I can’t work like this you need to IV sedation. I told him I did not want to pay even more for the procedure. He went and told my driver that I was causing a commotion in the back and people could hear. I never once raised my voice. He said you just need to go somewhere else to have this done, we will refund you. I told him my tooth is hurting, I just want this done, I will do the IV sedation. He left and then came back and said no you can’t because you can’t consent because you took the pills. He was berating me and I started crying. After I went to the bathroom crying he kept trying to pull me towards the lobby with my driver and other employees, possibly other patients. I obviously did not want to talk in front of people because I value privacy and was feeling vulnerable. He then told me I just had to go and referred me to someone else. He canceled the pain medicine he had called in and sent me with my tooth hurting with no crown on it. I did finally get him to fill the pain prescription but I have never had a medical professional treat me in such a manner. I would not recommend this dentist to anyone. I still can’t believe he talked to me the way he did during a time I am in pain and needing help.
