I have experienced a number of dentist through the years and most of them are competent to do a crown, a filling or pull a tooth. There was something different when I became a patient of Dr Walgren's. He not only wanted to address the problem that brought me to his office he explained that we needed to look at what was causing the problem and address that also. It was obvious that Dr. Walgren and his staff cared about me as well as my dental health.
I have been a patient since 2013, my teeth are healthier than they have ever been. I doze off sometimes when my teeth are getting cleaned or fixed, must be the comfortable atmosphere and the great tunes.
Never again. Quoted me an out of pocket price of $1,050.00. I paid it the day they started the procedure. About 6 months later they send me a bill for another $1,040.00 then a week after I received that bill they sent me to collections! I actually owed them only $7.50. Had two 3/4 crowns done. Each fell off 3 times. One while I was still in the office. They have no emergency number, no voicemail except for billing. Do not recommend.
I have been going to him for over 25 years. He is a wizard with numbing! I never feel it and post procedure I take medication for the anti-inflammatory reason, never because of pain. He has always worked to get me in quick!
I have been going to Dr Walgren for over 20 years and he and his staff are phenomenal. Dr. Walgren has performed several procedures, from fillings to root canals, and I have always been impressed by his light touch and good humor. I have also seen several hygienists over the years and have always been impressed with their friendliness and the quality of their work.
