I had such a wonderful experience at Montgomery Oral and Facial Surgery. From the moment I walked in, the front desk staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. They made the check-in process smooth and helped ease any nerves I had. The dental assistant who took me back and did my X-rays was super sweet, patient, and very understanding. She explained everything clearly and made sure I was comfortable the entire time, which I truly appreciated. When the doctor came in, he was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain what was going on in a way that was easy to understand. You could genuinely tell that he cares about his patients and wants the best outcome for them. He was attentive, compassionate, and never made me feel rushed. Overall, the entire team made what could have been a stressful visit feel calm and reassuring. I cannot recommend Dr. Merlo highly enough. From the very first consultation years ago through the multiple treatments that followed, the level of professionalism, precision, and genuine care has been nothing but exceptional. I had several tooth extractions and dental implants done, and every procedure was handled with incredible skill and attention to detail. What could have been a stressful experience was made comfortable and reassuring every step of the way. The results exceeded my expectations every time - the implants look and feel completely natural, and the healing process was smooth thanks to the doctor’s expertise and clear guidance. In addition, I also received Botox treatment, and the outcome was absolutely fantastic: natural-looking, refreshed, and exactly what I hoped for. Dr. Merlo combines outstanding surgical talent with an excellent bedside manner. The entire office staff is welcoming, organized, and attentive, creating a truly positive experience from start to finish. If you are looking for a highly skilled dental surgeon who delivers exceptional results in both dental and aesthetic procedures, I would wholeheartedly recommend this practice.
I’m not going to lie; securing an appointment with Dr. Merlo was a bit challenging—his demand is high because he’s that good! I originally scheduled my visit back in September 2025 for an appointment on October 7th, but the office called to reschedule for the 21st. However, when I arrived on time at 3:00 PM, my name was called within just 15 minutes. Dr. Merlo’s record-keeping is impressive; he even reminded me of some prescriptions I had forgotten regarding my TMJ issues. What I found refreshing was his approach to managing my condition and creating a personalized plan of action. I appreciated his candidness in discussing a more regimented exercise routine. We decided to start with less invasive treatments first, and if necessary, we can consider Botox shots down the line. Overall, I truly appreciate the attentive care and comprehensive plan provided by Dr. Merlo.
I want to take a moment to thank Dr. Merlo and Yvonne for the OUTSTANDING job they did caring for my mom who 74 years old with cancer. One of her cancer treatments caused her to experience repeated dental issues and infections. After taking her to MULTIPLE dentists for help we found Dr. Merlo's office. Yvonne was so helpful and caring! She went above and beyond to get my mom an appointment, make sure her insurance was authorized and provide our family with information about her care. This office is absolutely phenomenal! We are so grateful and appreciative to Dr. Merlo and his team!! Yvonne is an angel!
Just had a consultation for a tooth extraction/graft/tooth implant with Dr. Merlo who was very informative and non-scary for those of us who are cowards in the dental chair. I booked the surgery with confidence:). It's surgery, so there is risk and recovery time required. He laid it all out. The paperwork process has gone smoothly. The staff are really friendly! So far, so good...
