The experiences at Western Mass Periodontics have been excellent all the way through. I am still in awe how Dr. Schmidt pulled all my teeth without me feeling anything. The technical side of getting an exact image are simply 'jaw-dropping', as they employ newest technology! The finished product is excellent in stability, fit and looks. Very satisfied, indeed! A big "Thanks" to all involved.
I had a fairly straightforward procedure - a molar extraction of an intact tooth and a bone graft, in preparation for an implant. Dr. Salzmann has a wonderful, calm, gentle demeanor and the staff are all excellent and personable. They get you in on time, explain the procedures and your options, work up a treatment plan quickly, and tell you the cost up front so you can decide what to do. There is absolutely no pressure to take a certain action. Dr. Salzmann is a terrific periodontist and a welcome addition to the Berkshires.
My experience was the same as the first...friendly, informative, compassionate and professional. My mother was in the dental field for almost 40yrs and I was a patient which meant that I always got exceptional treatment. This developed a high bar and sometimes led to being critical of seeing how other offices operated when I had to find another Dentist. That said, I am happy to see that there are still great local professionals who truly care about us as patients and are very good at their job.
Very pleasant first experience. Everything on time and efficient. When I called back with a question post my visit, Jenna, my coordinator got right back to me and took care of my concern. I'm impressed.
From my initial conversation with Theresa, I felt she understood my fear of my upcoming procedure. She is a SKILLED listener with compassion & patience. The entire visit with Dr.Salzmann was unlike any other dental appointment I’ve ever experienced. from the consultation, to today’s procedure was nothing but a positive experience.Dr. Salzmann was thorough, patient, caring, compassionate and explained every step as he went along. He is a master at his craft. He made me feel relaxed as he knew how nervous I was. The hygienist was just as professional and supportive, I believe her name was Mackenzie. Today, I had the best team!
