Great experience all around. The facility is really nice. The consultation was just what we needed to make us feel comfortable. The wisdom teeth surgery was quick and really well done. The staff were polite helpful and professional. the aftercare bag was really nice (it even included a container of ice cream). A follow up call from Dr. Munk was very appreciated. I would fully recommend Dr. Munk and the whitewater oral surgery group.
Whitewater Oral Surgery was absolutely fantastic with my daughter’s wisdom teeth extraction. The entire experience was smooth, efficient, and so reassuring from start to finish. Dr. Kemper and the team were incredibly professional, kind, and organized. The procedure itself was impressively quick, taking only about 30 minutes, which really helped ease my anxiety. We were given clear, easy-to-understand instructions for pre- and post-op care, so we knew exactly what to expect and how to support her recovery at home. She even received complimentary ice cream for the ride home. One thing that really stood out was the personal follow up after the surgery to check on how my daughter was doing and ensure the pharmacy had received the prescriptions. That extra level of care meant a lot and made us feel truly looked after, not just like another appointment on the schedule. It was also very easy to reschedule when my daughter had a conflict— the office staff was flexible, helpful, and accommodating, which made scheduling stress-free. Overall, Whitewater Oral Surgery and Dr. Kemper went above and beyond. The combination of skill, efficiency, compassion, and excellent communication made what could have been a stressful experience into a very positive one. This is how all medical procedures and interactions should be. Highly recommend them for anyone needing wisdom teeth removal or oral surgery.
Best service and staff! They are interactive, kind, and professional every step of the way. They make you feel welcome and provide a smooth visit. You don’t really look forward to visiting an oral surgeon, but I can say my down time and pain was minimal to previous experiences.
I seriously cannot say enough good about Dr. Nelson and his team. On the first visit, Sam (surgical assistant) was friendly, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to answer my questions, and make me comfortable, before I even met Dr. Nelson. When Dr. Nelson came in, he said “Hi, I’m Eric”, and he laid out my different options with zero pressure. I absolutely loved them. On the day of oral surgery, it was almost a surreal experience. Dr. Nelson had my tooth out, literally before I knew it, with zero pain, and I was seriously in awe. I always have difficulty numbing, which I told him, and he assured me it would be fine. I have NEVER had dental work done before where the only area that was numb was INSIDE my mouth. Usually, my lips, face, and tongue are numb for hours after. Not with Dr. Nelson, he numbed just what was needed, and NOT my face/lips/tongue. I am convinced there is some type of magic going on it that office, and whatever it is, I LOVE it. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Nelson and his team (Sam, Lily, and Grace) if you ever need oral surgery services. They are exceptional!
I’m a big chicken when it comes to any sort of dentistry so when I had to have an oral surgery I was super anxious. But the staff and Dr Kemper put me at ease! Great office staff, helpful knowledgeable and kind. Dr Kemper is great, my surgery went smoothly and I was out of there ahead of schedule. They accommodated my need for sedation and never made me feel silly for needing it. I hope I never have to go back but if you have to go this is the place!
