I went to Dr. Graves with my husband last fall. After my husband had a very positive experience with him, I decided I would trust Dr. Graves & AOMS with removing my wisdom teeth... something that was long overdue. I'm afraid of surgery, and had been putting it off for quite some time. Dr. Graves was polite, respectful, and put both of us at ease. His staff were so friendly and supportive, and the facility is just gorgeous... everything is clean and state of the art. You know when you see some doctor's office in a T.V. show and think "yeah, right... they never look that nice"? Well this facility IS that nice. Very modern. It really put me at ease, because to have a big successful facility like this, I figured they must know what they're doing! Well, that was the right decision. I woke up from the anesthetic with my wisdom teeth removed, and no pain. Even once the local anesthetic wore off, I found that Dr. Graves had been so careful and gentle with my surgery that the recovery time was minimal... I was able to work and eat the very next day, no problem! My experience, and that of my husband, was really excellent. My father in law is actually a VERY skilled dentist, but doesn't have the ability to "put me under," which is why we decided to go to Dr. Graves after my husband's excellent experience. I can't recommend him highly enough.

Dr. Graves flawlessly removed my upper 2 wisdom teeth today. After researching how painful of a procedure wisdom teeth removal is; I was really nervous going into my appointment, but, surprisingly I didn’t feel a thing the entire time. I didn’t even feel the needle that he used to numb me because the numbing gel had already done its job. It’s been about 6 hours since I got them removed and I have yet to feel any pain whatsoever! If I would have known how easy he was going to make this experience for me, I would have gotten them removed a long time ago. I highly recommend Dr. Graves for any and every oral surgery necessity.

I've had a number of procedures done with Dr. Graves. I have come to trust him enough that any procedure is a simple one as far as my nerves are concerned. He is obviously a very skilled surgeon. Any procedures I have had are done with care and resulted in minimal pain. But I'd like to speak of his patient care. Dr. Graves has a special talent in being able to understand people's nerves or reluctance. He meets each person differently and knows how to speak to them to get them to remain calm. Oral surgery is very daunting. But he has a knack of being able to put people at ease. He does this all day everyday but he will come into a room with a smile and a hello that makes him relatable and less intimidating. He has excellent patient interaction and never makes your questions or concerns seem unfounded; even though he has done it so many times, he ultimately remembers that the patient has not. I don't love having oral surgery done. It's not an elective procedure. But Dr. Graves is so talented and skilled in his profession that he will always be my only choice. I have come to Dr. Graves for botox, tooth extractions, dental bone graft, dental implant and my child's "expose and bond."

I had some work done by Dr. Graves. I have anxiety issues so I was a bit of a pain to deal with. He and his staff went out of their way to make me feel relaxed and calm. I was sitting there talking with them then the next thing I knew I was waking up in recovery. I wasn't feeling sick or anything. If it wasn't for the room change and new freedom from pain, I wouldn't have even known something happened. Never had post op pain. Highly recommend AOMS and Dr. Graves.

I'd had issues with my jaw for a long time, and by the time it had developed to proper TMJ I went to go see Dr. Graves to be told I needed the surgery. I was losing a lot of weight from not being able to eat, but I have historically been skeptical of the results of surgical fixes. But I was wrong here. Not only did Dr. Graves do an incredible job on the surgery itself, his staff was very knowledgeable, friendly, and all around great for the entire duration that I was under their care. From the first pre-op visit to the last post-op one, I never had a single negative thing to say about his practice. I got my life back, I can eat, I'm not in pain any more. Considering the potential downsides of a surgery as complicated as this one, I would have gladly paid the price of a few scars or some residual damage, but I didn't have to. I can never say thank you enough to Dr. Graves and his staff for their care in that time, and I can never overstate the quality of their work.
