The hygienist and front office staff at Winterholler were awesome. Specifically Ashleigh cleaned my teeth and did an excellent job to ensure that I understood the process and was comfortable throughout. The dentist that I interacted with was also awesome, he spoke in terms I could understand and made an effort to make a personal connection with me. I felt like more than just another patient. The office is also brand new and equipped with what felt like state of the art equipment. X rays were able to be viewed on a big TV screen in front of you so the team could explain what they were seeing. Highly recommend Winterholler Dental, they are great.
I’d go with a 0/10 but I liked the demeanor of the dentist and dental hygienist. With that I give them a 3/10. However, my original dentist at the office went MIA and there seems to be a lot of internal drama, poor management and lack of communication. The office staff was terrible. Rude and a huge sense of entitlement. Glorified bridge trolls with the power to make or break someone’s day and they enjoy and misuse that small sense of power they have. The facility is new and it’s clean but there’s a lot of questioning when it comes to dentist coming in and leaving without communicating with patients and the staff is far below par.
The dentist I give 5 stars. The way the business is run? I wish I could give it no stars. To begin with, it took 4 months, 5 appointments, 2 doctors to get a root canal done on 1 tooth. I was very clear when I began services with them, that I only had so much money saved, and I needed to pay in full. After checking with the billing department after every visit, I finally left with my new tooth and the understanding my bill was paid in full. Fast forward to 6 months later and they called me saying I still owe $900! In 6 months I NEVER received any type of bill. When I went through my own records I found a payment for over $500, and when I asked, turns out they had never even applied that payment to my account. Where did that payment sit for 6 months? They cannot apply payments correctly until I point it out, and now I'm just supposed to trust them when they say I still owe money 6 months after my bill was "paid in full"? I loved the dentists that worked with me, but the billing department is a disorganized mess.
Such a welcoming office! Modern space with the latest and greatest technology, and the staff goes above and beyond to make every visit comfortable and efficient! Best office in Helena!
I recently had my first visit to this dental office, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience! The dental hygienist, Ashley, was so friendly and made me feel at ease with her great sense of humor. Dr. Stuart, the dentist, was professional, funny, and took the time to explain everything thoroughly. I never felt pressured, which has been an issue at other places in the past. I appreciated the options he gave me and felt confident in his recommendations. The receptionist was very friendly, and took the time to check on insurance coverage for a future appointment. I’m really glad I found a dental office I feel comfortable with. Highly recommend!
