Patient Reviews
Powered by GoogleI saw Dr. Michael Gardi after my other provider left. I just wanted to commend Dr. Gardi on how well he paid attention to my needs regarding my implants/partial. He fixed my partial where it wasn’t sitting correctly up in my mouth. No matter how long it was going to take, he kept working on it until it fit correctly and until he was sure I was comfortable with how well it fit. Just a great experience all around.
The initial consultation was friendly and easy however they told me to wait for a call to schedule the actual appointment to get things done. Waited over a month just to be called by the most rude receptionist I've ever talked to. Mad when I had to schedule the appointment around work, loudly sighing as if I was so horribly inconvenient for even needing the appointment. Disgusting way to treat a patient and why would I trust y'all near my mouth when I can't even be scheduled with basic decency
Sigh.. just pay the money and go to a real dentist. This hands down was in the top 3 most painful experiences of my life. You get what you pay for. I was not numbed properly in the beginning and kept getting told "I'm going to feel pressure?" It wasn't until my tears were in the way of their butchering process did they decide to numb me more. After I got my wisdom tooth pulled and got to my car I noticed I had blood all over my face ( not one person was kind enough to tell me before I left the room ) My lip is also cut? They failed to mention while they were absolutely destroying my gums they cut my lips? I didn't know because I was numb they literally butchered me. You will feel like a science experiment with random students taking charge you can tell none of them are confident in what they are doing.. there were 4 people taking turns trying to extract one tooth. There is also no real doctor staying in the room to ensure they aren't messing up patients (which is why I left with a cut lip and bloody face). I was sent home with no medication and the pain level is supposed to be minimal.. sike. Now that I am no longer numb, the pain is horrible. You do not need to give out opioids but pulling out a tooth with no aftercare medication seems dystopian. The whole thing seems sketchy. Anyway, my tooth is out but at what cost.. I think keeping my cracked tooth would've been the better option lol. this place will give you ptsd
You get what you expect. Good for an emergency extraction, but otherwise I don’t recommend it. Staff in the oral surgery office is loud, unprofessional, and with inappropriate conversations right in front of waiting patients. They need some training from HR.
I had to get several periodontal surgeries done here. This is thousands of dollars worth of work done. It went well for the first couple surgeries. On my third one, the dr’s assistant started coughing. This made me very uncomfortable because my mouth is open the entire surgery. I informed the dr of this. I have complications from Covid and I can’t risk exposure. I asked the dr if the assistant could upgrade to a tighter fitting mask, like an n95, for my next surgery. They then told me they thought it would be “a little rude” to ask them to, but they would. I felt like I was treated as an inconvenience. I was disappointed to hear that my concerns weren’t being taken seriously. I expected more diligence and professionalism from a WVU healthcare facility. I called to file a complaint, and the person told me they would speak to their department. I never received a call back after that. Needless to say, I will be having my 4th surgery done at a place that will take my health and safety concerns more seriously.
